Description:
Hey folks, do you like EATING RIBS?! This is a casual hangout event for those attending Ribfest Chicago! Whether you’re new to the group or a regular, this is a laid-back way to meet new people with similar interests!
We're gonna walk around & eat/chat.

About Ribfest Chicago:
Around since 2000, Ribfest Chicago is a three-day event in the Northcenter neighborhood dedicated towards the act of eating a great rack of ribs! There'll be rib vendors, general entertainment, & a whole lot of people! The vendors selling food range from local Chicagoans to out-of-state restaurants! All of them (hopefully) DELICIOUS!

Note on Admission:

• Admission into the festival is 100% free, though gate attendees will standby to collect donations.
• These donations are used to invest right back into the Northcenter community & help support their local schools, nonprofit organization, economic development, & greening efforts!

Schedule:

• 11:45 AM: So that folks can talk a bit before the fest opens, there's a Starbucks nearby that we can wait at until the fest begins.
• 12:00 PM: We'll clutter up as a group & enter the fest. I'll send updates about available spots to hangout at in the Meetup comments. The fest venue isn't too big.
