Hike & Picnic Social!! - Montrose Beach

Summer Hiking Series 4 AND Picnic Social is scheduled for Sunday June 22nd. Hike @ 11am, Picnic Social @ 2pm

The Hike will be at Montrose Beach along the Lake Front trail. Meeting location will be the pavement driveway next to The Dock restaurant. 📍200 W Montrose Harbor Dr, Chicago, IL 60640

We'll walk 6-8 miles total turning around at about mile 4 to head back to Montrose Beach. There is the Picnic Social to follow for those interested!!

Picnic Social 2pm - 5pm @ Montrose Beach Let's meet first at the pavement driveway next to The Dock restaurant at 2pm and then we'll pick a location on the grass in the surrounding area. This picnic social is Bring Your Own snacks, sharing is optional. It will be HOT! The projected weather forecast is 89° and sunny. Dress accordingly and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Feel free to bring a blanket, chair, umbrella, shade shelter, or similar.

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL OPEN CONTAINER LAWS. Alcohol is prohibited in Chicago parks, beaches, and public ways.

More info about Montrose Beach: There is a pay-for- parking lot but the surrounding Street, N Simonds Drive, is free parking. There are concession stands available next to The Dock restaurant and sometimes throughout the park. There's an indoor bathroom facility also next to The Dock restaurant.
