Summer Hike Series 7 - Linne Woods

It's time for the 7th Summer Hike Series for Summer 2025!

This time the location is in Morton Grove Illinois at the Linne Woods picnic grove #1

📍Dempster St, Morton Grove, IL 60053

Between Callie Ave and Ferris Ave on Dempster st

We'll follow the Yellow trail for about 8 miles by turning back around at mile 4 just before Lake Ave.

We'll meet at the picnic grove parking lot @ 10am this time. The hike will begin after a brief introduction.

The length of the Yellow Trail is much longer but for this meetup we'll hike 8 miles. There are options to veer off the trail onto short trails through and around other nature areas we'll come across. If desired, we can hike further onto the Yellow trail before turning back. The groups have been doing awesome knocking out 8 miles!!

Halfway through at Harms Woods we can take a sit down break to rest and snack.

The end of our hike will be back at the starting point, Linne Woods parking lot, where we can celebrate and take a group photo! 📸
