Summer Hike Series 11 - Montrose Beach

It's Hike #11!!! Sunday August 17th. Hike @ 10am.

The Hike will be at Montrose Beach along the Lake Front trail. Meeting location will be the pavement driveway next to The Dock restaurant.

📍200 W Montrose Harbor Dr, Chicago, IL 60640

We'll walk 6-8 miles total turning around at about mile 4 to head back to Montrose Beach.

Last week was a scorcher and we cut the hike short. If this time around weather turns out to be similar then the hike will be cut short again.

More info about Montrose Beach: There is a pay-for- parking lot but the surrounding Street, N Simonds Drive, is free parking. There are concession stands available next to The Dock restaurant and sometimes throughout the park. There's an indoor bathroom facility also next to The Dock restaurant.
