Fall 🍁 Hike Series 19- Teason's Woods near Swallow Cliff Stairs Palos Park

It's time for hike #19 of the Fall Hiking Series happening on Sunday October 26th @ 10am

We'll meet in the parking lot of Teason's Woods at 10am. Our hike will begin via the Yellow trail @ 10:10am

This time the location is in Palos Park, Illinois @ Teason's Woods

Teason's Woods is just under 1 mile from Swallow Cliff Stairs. The parking lot at the stairs becomes full quickly so, that is why we are meeting at Teason's Woods parking lot instead.

The trail we'll be hiking is called the Yellow trail. Mostly unpaved with hills.

The plan is to hike the entire Yellow trail, which is an 8 mile long loop. About halfway through the yellow trail we'll take a sit-down break. Here, there will be an opportunity for those only hiking the 5 mile route to hop onto the Brown trail. After our break we will continue the rest of the hike towards McClaughrey Spring Woods.

Towards the end of the trail we will reach the Stairs where there is a bathroom and concessions building. The end of the trail will be back to the Teason's Woods parking lot. Then we'll celebrate and take a group photo! 📸
