Summer Hike at Beverly Lake

Hike is on! Air quality is well within the acceptable categories.

Meet @ 9:30am, Hike @ 9:40am. About 7 miles through woods, prairie, and rolling hills.

Meeting spot is pinned on the map. Beverly Lake Trail in Hoffman Estates off of Route 72. We’ll be hiking the official Beverly Lake Trail and also crossing Penny Road to some of the trails on the other side.

There is 1 porta-potty along the route.

Things to bring:
-water (no running water or available on site)
-sunscreen (parts of the hike are fully exposed)
-permethrin-treated clothing or bug spray with deet. This is heavy tick country.
