The Great Bread and Cheese Debate of 2025

For May, the theme will be to bake a bread and cheese concoction, and you are encouraged to interpret that however you like (e.g., pizza counts, but a plain bagel does not). As part of that, there was a suggestion at the last meetup to add an interactive element, and we'll have a little game where you can defend your interpretation of the theme with your baked good (and also judge/challenge other people's interpretations). Not sure how the game/scoring will work yet, but if we do have a winner, winner gets to pick the theme for a future month's meetup.

We'll be meeting at Burning Bush Brewery where we'll have a quasi-private reserved space, which will be perfect for a raucous food debate. No deposit or minimum spend, so no pressure to hit a certain dollar amount (though it would be nice to order something since we're using their space). Please note that we are meeting earlier than usual at 1pm, and we have the space until 4pm. If you're not familiar with the venue, you can check in at the bar and ask for the Community Room, and it'll be reserved under my name.

Feel free to leave a comment with what you're bringing, or you can just leave it as a surprise (surprises are recommended for this month). If you'll be attending, please also leave a comment with any food allergies you may have (or you can message me and I can leave a comment, if you'd prefer). Apologies in advance for those who are celiac and/or lactose intolerant.
