For July, the theme will be to bake something French or Canadian (or using French or Canadian ingredients) to commemorate Bastille Day and Canada Day. So croissants and macarons count, as would something made with Canadian bacon or maple syrup. Go sweet, go savory, or go both!

Location will be weather dependent, but let's try for another outdoor meetup. Union Park in the West Loop has some decent-sized picnic tables with some shade, but I'll also look for other outdoor locations we can use. As a backup, we'll have space reserved at Burning Bush Brewery in case weather forces us indoors. Like with June, the venue may change at the last minute depending on the weather forecast (precipitation, temperature, humidity).

Feel free to leave a comment with what you're bringing, or you can just leave it as a surprise. If you'll be attending, please also leave a comment with any food allergies you may have (or you can message me and I can leave a comment, if you'd prefer).

Looking forward to seeing what you all bring!
