The Italian Offensive

For August, the theme will be to bake (or make) something that takes an Italian dish/ingredient but uses it in a way that would be sacrilegious to Italians (e.g., breaking spaghetti noodles before cooking them, mixing cheese and seafood). If I can put it together, we may even have a small competition for the item that breaks the most Italian food norms and sensibilities (while still being delectable) 😁

We'll be meeting at Burning Bush Brewery where we have space reserved in the back. If you're not familiar with the venue, you can check in at the bar and ask for the Community Room, and it'll be reserved under my name.
