Description

Having located a 20+ year old coding assignment graded on how fast it ran, Rob will demonstrate some approaches to identifying performance bottlenecks using Linux perf tools in an effort to best what he did half his life ago without breaking it in the process. Can modern programming facilities open the door to missed gains in the past?
