This presentation will look under the hood at all the machinery needed to start a program. We'll also cover how to actually get started writing C++ for an embedded platform & how to interact with the real world.

About the presenter

Ashwin is a software developer in the trading space with a background in embedded electronics & computer architecture. He's worked on electronic subsystems for a variety of applications, including sub-sea ROVs & cars. Now, he brings this expertise to the Chicago C/C++ UG.

Details

We will be opening doors for a social hour at 4:30 pm with pizza and drinks. The presentation will begin at 5:30.
Some of us may be head out for a drink or two afterward, but this will be organized based on interest, night-of.
