¡A Bailar y Cumbanchar! Enjoy Cuban culture through music and dancing. Join us for a fun class and practice your new skills by dancing the night away to inviting rhythms. No experience or partner needed! ¡A gozar!

Timba and other Cuban music. Dance Casino (aka: Cuban Salsa); Rueda de Casino; Son; Rumba Cubana and more.

This is Chicago's only regular Cuban dance and gathering of the city's Casino-dancing community. No other event features Timba and other Cuban music throughout the evening and the opportunity to dance Casino, Rumba and more.

Golden Hour at Epiphany Center for the Arts is accentuated by free live music with food and drink specials, and, good friends… creating a magical aura that will help you, our valued patron, wind down or up your day!

Casino (also called “Cuban-style salsa”) is an elegant and dynamic partner dance.

In this class you will learn and review the fundamental moves in Casino partnerwork, and basic turn patterns.

We will work on the pivots, positions and transitions that are Casino bedrock.

The class will focus on fundamentals for partner dancing. We will not work on Rueda de Casino calls, although you will learn good foundations for Rueda.

This class is perfect for beginners with some Latin Dance experience, and for experienced Rueda dancers who want to transition to Casino partner dancing.

If your Casino dancing is based on Rueda moves, join us to learn the Casino partner dancing fundamentals.
