Shandong cuisine is considered as the No. 1 of the 8 great cuisines of China. It is the only self-originated cuisine while others are influenced by other nearby regions. Shandong cuisines has the longest history and has the most abundant cooking techniques and the most difficult methods.
Class content:
- Steamed (Yipin) Tofu
- Steamed tofu over egg, minced onion, ginger, and poured over with peas, carrots, potatoes, spinach, cucumber, celery and red dates
- Sweet & Sour Pork
- Pork tenderloin in a sweet & sour sauce
- Braised Chicken
- Chicken that is stir-fried while periodically braised with bean sauce, green pepper, dried fragrant mushroom, star anise, bay leaf, peppercorn, ginger, onion and garlic
Event cost: $55 per person
