The 8th Episode of China's Eight Regional Cuisines Series
Jiangsu cuisine's texture is characterized as soft, but not to the point of mushy or falling apart. In addition, Jiangsu cuisine also focuses on heating temperature.
The people found in this province, are found with gentle personality that matches their love for food. This can be seen by their knife cutting techniques, and attention to presentation.
For this event, we will be preparing the following:
Shredded Eel with Hot Oil
This flavorful delicacy takes you on a flavorful journey, highlighting the delicate and tender eel, perfectly stir fried with a fusion of bold seasoning and aromatics. It’s a celebration of regional ingredients and traditional Chinese culinary artistry at its best.
Steamed Drunken Pork-Belly
When pork belly meets the traditional Chinese cooking wine..be enchanted!
Mixed Stir-Fry with Southern Veggies
A medley of pretty colors, various textures and most importantly the fresh looks of this fun dish will keep you going back to it time and again.
