Hi Cooking Chicks~

Join us as we team up with The Glass Rooster for professional canning classes! Enjoy all the tastes of Fall all year long by learning this long-time basic skill of preserving. We'll be learning how to jar APPLES as well as make fresh apples sauces and pie fillings! Ingredients will be locally sourced and then provided for the class. This will be mostly hands on and taught by Chicago's top canning expert Laura McLaughlin owner of The Glass Rooster herself! You will also walk away with a Jar or two to take home!

Cost of event includes: ALL food, supplies, jars, instructor time and event fees

You just bring: YOURSELF & your fav kitchen apron!

*EVENT REFUND POLICY: We are so excited to have you a part of our community! To keep the integrity of our events and those who put many hours of organizer time in to ensure there is enough food and to prep dishes in advance it is our event policy that there are no refunds after sign up so please ensure you can attend prior to signing up. Please note that ingredients for this class must be purchased in advance and can be costly.

-CANCELS BY Oct 1st a credit equal to the amount of the class will be given to use at another time and this does not expire as long as you stay a part of The Cooking Chicks - your spot will be opened up for another attendee to have a chance to sign up.

-ANY NO SHOWS or CANCELS AFTER Oct 1st the fee for the class will be forfeited and no credit given.

-CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE OF THE EVENT - everyone will be 100% refunded

-Note: We cannot offer refunds or credits for those who miss due to weather issues unless there are severe emergencies

We will notify all RSVP'd attendees of the address 2-3 times before the event. Please note it is the responsibility of the attendee to check their email for event instructions. The organizer is also reachable with any questions! Thank you.

*EVENT FEES: We're growing and want to make sure you have an amazing Cooking Chicks event experience that are well planned and affordable so our fees for events may vary. The Cooking Chicks events create a unique experience for women to bond and network over food! Your event fee goes towards purchase of event supplies and hosting kit, Ingredients, Room Fees (where applicable), MeetUp fees, Paypal fees, Organizer Time, Create accountability to hold your spot for an event and/or in some cases Payment to vendors for their services and event experiences they provide to us. Any Cooking Chick who hosts an event will have the event fee waived as a thank you for hosting and all supplies for that event are provided to the host. Any out of pocket costs are reimbursed (minus any alcohol expense which is BYOB) out of fees collected. Thank you.
