OK, HELLO CABIN FEVER PEEPS !!!!

YES, the weather has agreed to work with a few of our schedules & TAH DAH !
Gravel road ride leaving Freeport at 9:30 am kickstands up & heading out or, you can meet us at Slurp & Burp in Downtown LORAN at 10 am ! The ride from Slurp & Burp will be 75 miles more or less on 50% or more of gravel roads. We will stop a number of times for views, food & pictures. This will be a moderate pace. I plan on riding a XT 250 so, bring what you have. BMW GS, HONDA 650, KTM 350,390, 1150 ?? Some areas of gravel could still be fairly soft in sections & thinking Knobbies are not necessary, though an actual cruiser machine/bike might have some difficulties. Plenty of curves & hills... For a timeline to arrive in Freeport you can set your GPS for Menards Freeport, Illinois. I live 2 miles down the road. All that RSVP by Friday eve before 7pm will get my exact address. 7pmish or later then RSVPs will close. ALL HASBEENS STILL WELCOME ! Bring your own layer of clothing, water, snaks. There might be a fuel stop planned as well. Once the group meeting at my house leaves, there will be NO FUEL for at least 40 miles. so come prepared. I have plenty of room for trucks/trailers of which will be totally safe verses a Menards parking lot. Questions ASK AWAY ! Others might be thinking the same!! Looking forward to some country gravel riding & new friends! New rider or seasoned welcome ! We HAVE to leave my house at 9:30 in order to be timely for those that are meeting at Slurp & Burp . So arrive as early as 8:30. LOOKS to be a warmer day ! In case Slurp does NOT show up on your GPS that is OK as it is the only business in town other than a church !
