Inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland, Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film is part political satire, part black comedy, and part action blockbuster. One Battle After Another is a tale of rebellion and survival. Leonardo DiCaprio and Teyana Taylor star as civil rights activists who find themselves entangled with an anti-government group.
