Leo, a mute ten-year-old orphan, escapes from the children’s home where she lives to travel to a fishing competition. On the way, Lou, a non-conformist with barely a penny to his name, finds the little girl on the road, hitchhiking. Unaware of Leo’s real objective, he agrees to give her a ride🚗, believing he’s taking her back home to her family…
