We've done this event many times — and it's always a hit. No two shows are ever the same!

Story Lab is now in its 15th year, so let's kick off the evening with unforgettable stories, good food, and even better company.

From the same team behind This Much Is True, Story Lab brings you New Voices Telling Fresh Stories — an intimate evening of storytelling in the cozy back room of one of Chicago's best pubs.

Since January 2011, Story Lab has put 1,000+ new and first-time tellers on stage — people from every walk of life and experience level sharing true personal stories with packed houses of attentive listeners. Each show is an unpredictable mix of the hilarious and the heartbreaking, featuring memorable tales from your friends, neighbors, and fellow Chicagoans. Over 15+ years, 950+ storytellers have taken that stage!

🎤 7:00 PM – Head upstairs to grab seats

• 3 no-shows without updating RSVP = 3-month event freeze
• RSVP cut-off is event start time
• If running late, message the host directly
• Please check in with the host upon arrival
• Continued no-shows may result in removal from the group
