Adaptive Adventures: Paddling

Details
We are celebrating Disability Pride Month with a big "Thank You" to one of our partners, Adaptive Adventures is a national 501c3 non-profit organization.
Adaptive Adventures is headquartered out of Colorado, but the Forest Preserves of Cook County enjoys partnering with their Midwest office in Schaumburg, IL.
The organization is committed to providing progressive mobile outdoor accessible sports and adventures to adults, children and veterans who have disabilities.
They "meet participants and families where they are in their pain and trauma."
Some of the activities are wall/rock climbing, paddling, skiing, kayaking, cycling, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, to name a few events...
Adaptive Adventures and the FPCC teamed up to ensure the trails, pathways, and waterways are available and accessible to every lover of the great outdoors!
As they say, "There is FREEDOM in MOBILITY!"
We invite you to come out to our next two joint events!
You will need to sign their Participant Waiver available on their website.
