Hello everyone,
Let's explore Shade State Park in Indiana State for Six Ravine Challenge.
https://www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/parks-lakes/shades-state-park/
Six Ravine Challenge
"Enjoy the ups and downs of rugged
hiking by traveling through 6 ravines.
Climb ladders, enjoy beautiful vistas, and chase down a waterfall or two. Plan on 2-3 hours to complete the hike."
Fees
$9 Out-of-State Daily Entrance
Noncommercial vehicles with out-of-state license plates, every day including holidays. Admits driver and passengers. This applies to all State Parks and state-managed lakes, excluding Falls of the Ohio State Park’s Interpretive Center and Indiana Dunes and Prophetstown state parks.
It's about 3 hours away from Chicago, but it's worth to drive. I plan to have a hike in Turkey Run State Park on Sunday and you can join with me if you're not available on Saturday.
Keep in mind that the timezone is different. We will keep to follow Chicago time, so let's meet at 11AM. Sunset time is around 8PM, but I will try to finish the hike by 5PM. Please check carpooling in advance. Also, don't forget to bring snacks, water, or any items that you need.
Camping
I will stay two nights for camping. I will go there on Friday and come back on Sunday after Turkey Run State Park hiking. Let me know if you're interested.
