11:30-12:30: Bring your own lunch and picnic blanket (optional)
12:30-2:00pm: Urban hike along the north river branch (Church to Skokie sculpture park to Oakton): 5 miles, 2hrs
2:00-2:30pm move to Chicago Canoe and Kayak rental on the Skokie lagoons

2:30-5:30pm We'll head south first and maybe do a bit north if there's time.

The Skokie lagoons were created by a series of damns, which we'll dock at to carry our kayaks over. They are a great place for kayaking and bird watching from the water.
$25/hr for a single
$35/he for a tandem
Or bring your own! We'll have a black kayak.

Driving:
We can pick 2 up or carpool from Lincoln Park or a cta station.
