What is Kirtan?
Kirtan is a form of yoga called Bhakti Yoga. This type of yoga is done singing Mantra’s and heartsongs. All songs that increase your vibration and promote healing.
Sining not only feels wonderful, it helps you to open your throat chakra which promotes one to speak their truth. It also helps relax the nervous system and releases trauma.
This form of Kirtan is a non-denominational form of prayer, meditation and connection to that inner source. If you have a specific religious practice, always pray to your God in your heart. Even if we are singing to a Hindu Deity, you will relate to the energies with your personal connection.
