A special branch of Long and Short Travel Adventures (LASTA) Club
We’re curating an intimate community of sophisticated women—retired or with flexible schedules—who want to see the world together in style, friendship, and ease. Hosted by Melissa Mitchell, owner of LASTA, our journeys blend culture, relaxation, and just the right touch of adventure.
Our philosophy is simple: travel at a comfortable, unhurried pace, allowing everyone to savor the beauty of each destination. For those who crave a little more thrill, we always include free days so you can design your own adventures while others indulge in leisure, spa time, or a glass of wine overlooking the view.
What makes this group truly unique is our collaborative spirit—future destinations and experiences are shaped with input from the women who travel with us. This is more than a travel club—it’s a circle of open-minded, stylish, and adventurous women who value luxury, connection, and the joy of discovering the world together.
Before each journey, we host Zoom gatherings and a private dinner in Chicagoland, so everyone can meet and bond before departure. Our next grand adventure will be Sydney, Australia, and Nadi, Fiji in December 2026—with two departure dates, including one that welcomes the New Year in the South Pacific. Melissa and her co-host will personally remain on-site before and after the trips to ensure every detail flows seamlessly.
