Potluck & Winter Celebration

It's holiday time! What a whirlwind of books and life we've read and lived.

POTLUCK
Time for a potluck! Bring your holiday favorite, winter staple, or a special treat (wine?). Test out a holiday recipe before presenting it to the disapproving scrutiny of your Great Aunt Bethesda; we are an excellent test audience. Please coordinate your potluck in the discord, #holiday-party channel.

BOOK SWAP
Please bring a wrapped book gift. Leave it on the table. Pick up a different wrapped book. At the end of the evening we will open them all at once.

BOOK-THEMED GAME?
Moose made up a game called "Comp Titles". It's like genre-mashup Pictionary meets Taboo.

NO ASSIGNED READING.
It's a perfect opportunity for newcomers to get to know the group without the pressure of reading a specific book beforehand. The rest of the time will be devoted to the other tenets of this book club: wine, being together, and having a nice time.
