Chicago Queer Men Of Color

Chicago Queer Men of Color is a community-centered space created to help queer men connect, bond, and truly feel a sense of belonging.

While this group welcomes all queer men and allies, our purpose is to intentionally center and uplift LGBTQ+ men of color. This is a space that honors the intersection of race, culture, and queer identity, especially for those who may not always feel seen, comfortable, or fully accepted in predominantly white or straight spaces.

Our goal is to build genuine friendships, meaningful connections, and community here in the Chicagoland area. Whether you’re new to the city, looking to expand your circle, or simply want to spend time with people who “get it,” you’re welcome here.

We’ll host a wide variety of events, including:

-Food outings and casual meetups

-Outdoor activities and walks

-Social hangouts and nightlife

-Low-pressure, conversation-friendly gatherings

Above all, this group is rooted in respect, openness, and kindness. Members are expected to come with a welcoming attitude, be respectful of others’ identities and experiences, and be open to making new friends and connections.
