Welcome to the Chicago Research & Reading Circle, a space for independent thinkers, autodidacts, students, creatives, academics, and lifelong learners who love to dig deep. Each month, we meet to share what we’ve been reading, researching, or obsessing over - whether it’s a dense political theory text, a surprising scientific paper, a historical deep dive, or a personal research project.
There’s no assigned reading (unless we decide to choose optional themes!). Instead, everyone brings their own intellectual passions to the table. Whether you’re exploring climate collapse, folklore, psychology, foreign policy, or theories of consciousness - this is a space to share, learn, and connect with others who love learning for its own sake.
