What we’re about
We want to share stories and experiences over a meal with new friends. Come explore new restaurants with us and enjoy the best company and ambiance that Chicago has to offer!
To ensure a welcoming, enjoyable experience for all members at our brunch events, we’ve established core principles that we kindly ask each member to uphold. These tenants—Goodwill, Good Manner, Good Conversation, and Good Time—guide us in creating a space where everyone can feel at home and leave each event with both full hearts and stomachs. Here’s how we define each tenant and the guidelines associated with them:
Goodwill: Respecting and Supporting Each Other
Goodwill is the foundation of our community. It means showing kindness, empathy, and respect for every individual’s unique experience, perspectives, and dietary choices.
Good Manner: Courtesy at the Table
Good manner by all ensures that each event runs smoothly and pleasantly for everyone. Simple courtesies go a long way in maintaining a positive experience for all members.
Good Conversation: Building Connections Through Engaging Dialogues
Good conversation is the heart of our brunch meetups. We encourage open, respectful dialogue where everyone feels heard and valued.
Good Time: Enjoying and Making the Most of Each Event
Ultimately, we’re here to have a good time. This means showing up with a positive mindset, an appetite for great food, and an openness to new connections.

About The Fireside..…https://www.firesidechicago.com/
“The Fireside Restaurant and Lounge in Chicago has a rich history and has been a beloved part of the community for many years. Located in the Andersonville neighborhood, the Fireside has been operating since 1904, making it one of Chicago's oldest restaurants.
Originally a roadhouse for passersby and hosting the many visiting family and friends of the historic Rosehill Cemetery, it eventually transformed into a restaurant and lounge, changing its name to the Fireside in the 1940s and has retained that name ever since.
Over the years, the Fireside Restaurant and Lounge has become renowned for its warm and cozy atmosphere, featuring our namesake fireplace in the dining room, as well as our famous all-weather patio. It has been a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike, offering a diverse menu that includes classic American dishes, steaks, seafood, and comfort food.
Throughout our history, the Fireside has served as a gathering place for the community, hosting a variety of events and gatherings. It provides a welcoming environment for socializing and dining, earning a reputation as a neighborhood institution that exudes nostalgia and showcases a taste of Chicago's history.”
