Join Chicago Sews for our October Sip & Sew — our monthly virtual sew-cial happy hour!

With our first Chicago Sews sewing retreat taking place during our usual Sip & Sew weekend, we’re shifting our virtual gathering back one week.

Sip & Sew is a relaxed, welcoming space to unwind, stitch, and sewcialize with friends (old and new). Bring whatever you’re currently working on — a garment in progress, a quilt, mending, embroidery, knitting, crochet, or another handcraft — and settle in for a few hours of making together.

There’s no set project or agenda for the evening, so you’re free to work at your own pace, ask questions, share what’s on your sewing table, or simply enjoy some company while you create. Whether you’re cutting into something new, finishing a lingering WIP, hand sewing from the couch, or just dropping in to chat while you work, there’s space for you here.

Bring your favorite beverage, grab your current project, and let’s chat, sew, and spend a little dedicated creative time together.
