International Folk Dance, Glen Ellyn

Chicagoland International Folk Dance
Join us for an afternoon of International Folk Dance from 1–3:15 p.m. at the Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center. Experience lively traditional dances from around the world—circle, line, and partner formations set to music from diverse cultures. Each dance is taught and walked through beforehand, so no partner or prior experience is needed.

We recommend bringing your own water bottle. If you bring snacks to share, we suggest they be bite-sized and easy to eat neatly.

(***Stay after from 3:30-6 pm if you would also like to participate in English Country Dance!)

Admission:
To help cover the cost of the hall rental, the suggested donation is $5 per person. If we have live music, we may request $10 per person.

Getting There:
Enter through the main doors, turn to the right, and go up the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Continue down the hallway past the restrooms -- the multipurpose room is on the right.
