Welcome to our group :)
It is an open space where you can express yourself, support others and receive support.
We start with introductions. We will sometimes do a small activity like a worksheet, craft or meditation before we start our discussion.
Our discussion consists of everyone giving a life "update" and talking about anything that has been on their mind lately. This is a time to share current struggles, accomplishments or thoughts.
We close the group with gratitude and goal setting.
Group guidelines:
Do your best to:
- Speak from your own experience
- Not give advice unless asked
- Stay courteous of others, stay aware of how long you are speaking (we want everyone to have a turn to speak)
- Be open minded of different opinions, lifestyles and experiences
- Step outside if you need to use electronic devices (texting, calling, etc.)
The group moderator/s are not professionals, and this is not a substitute for professional mental health guidance. However, we will always do our best to create a loving and open space for everyone.
Donations are appreciated and all donations 100% support the group. They are accepted in cash, check or through our online payment platform "Pledge" which should be connected to this post.
