Talking about feelings isn’t always easy. Many of us carry thoughts, emotions, and experiences that don’t often have a place to land. Over time, holding things in can feel isolating, even when life on the outside looks “fine.”
Emotional experiences—whether stress, uncertainty, personal challenges, or unspoken feelings—can leave people feeling disconnected, unheard, or unsure where to begin. Sometimes, it simply helps to talk and be around others who are open to doing the same.
You’re invited to an in-person gathering with the Chicago Talking About Feelings Meetup Group, a space for adults who are interested in open, thoughtful conversations about emotions. Whether you’re hoping to share, listen, reflect, or just be present, you’re welcome here.
This is not a lecture and not group therapy. It’s a guided, respectful conversation where people can talk openly, listen to others, and connect in a supportive environment. Some may come to speak, others to listen—both are completely okay.
Continental breakfast will be provided.
