Costume-making Party!

It's costume time!!!

Join us after rehearsal for a group costume making party!

NOTE: Rehearsal ends at 3:00 pm but Konak does not open until 4:00 pm. If you do not yet have your black blazer, pop into Village Discount Thrift (4898 N Clark St) on your way! It is walking distance from Konak.

WHAT WE'LL DO:
- guided costume making instructions
- build cohesive group look together
- enjoy pizza and drinks (pizza provided)

WHAT TO BRING:
- Black blazer and pants
- Supplies will be provided at the party
- A bag to bring some supplies home (spiderwebs, dead flowers , ascot, baby powder)

WHY ATTEND:
- pride of having made your own costume
- connect with fellow zombies
- it's a pizza party!

IMPORTANT:
- we'll have plenty to do for everyone at the party, please come!
- please see attached costume guide to learn exactly what will be provided by Chicago Thriller and which items you'll need to shop or bring for your closet to the dress rehearsal and performance.
- an ironing station will be available for those who'd like to purchase DIY Chicago Thriller decals and brand their own tee shirts, sweatshirts, bags, etc! (official Chicago Thriller decals available for purchase - all funds support the flash mob).

ABOUT THIS YEAR'S COSTUME:
Based on Michael Jackson's second Halloween music Video Ghosts. Zombies will wear simple black suits with ornate ascots or neck bows, layered in spiderwebs, dead flowers, and vintage brooches. Costumes will be dusted with baby powder for a ghostly, abandoned look, with hidden sachets that release eerie plumes of dust. Makeup will feature a bold skeleton mask across the upper face, fading into zombie decay below.
