How about joining us for a "progressive meal" conducted by Chicago Dine-Around? We will be picked up by motor coach in Chicago Ridge at 3:00pm and transported to and from three (3) different restaurants in the Downtown Loop. Carpool (and sharing of gas cost) available from Palos Heights, IL. You MUST notify me that you want to ride with someone OR that you will meet me and follow in your own vehicle. We will meet at 7:30am in the parking lot (near Pop's) of Jewel, 12803 South Harlem Avenue, Palos Heights. If I do not hear from you, we will leave at exactly 7:45am.

TOUR
Davis went from a circuit-riding lawyer to a U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice, and maintained a long-time friendship with Abraham Lincoln.
From his earliest days riding the circuit with Lincoln to the years when he served as Lincoln's appointee to the highest court in the land, Judge Davis played out his life at the very center of American politics and society.

The tour begins with a 20-minute introductory video in our visitor center, followed by a docent-led tour inside the David Davis Mansion, which lasts approximately 45 minutes. At the end of the tour, you are given some time to shop in the Clover Lawn Gift Shop and view our temporary exhibit, if you wish. You are then invited to explore the barn and stable, as well as Sarah’s Garden.
There is a suggested donation of $10 per adult and $5 per child. This donation helps to preserve the David Davis Mansion for future generations.

## For Visitors with Mobility Impairments

The following buildings, exhibits, and historic structures at the David Davis Mansion are accessible to wheelchair users:

• The visitor’s center
• All walkways
• The barn and stable
• Sarah’s Garden (the garden paths are mulch, so use your discretion)

Accessible bathrooms are located:

• Inside the visitor’s center
• In the building north of the barn/stable

The David Davis Mansion itself is not accessible. In order to enter visitors must be able to climb the large stairway to the front door. We do not have an operational wheelchair lift.

Trip Itinerary (subject to change without notice):
Day 1: Board your spacious, video and restroom equipped motor coach and set off for the bright lights of "The Big Apple" - New York City! This evening, you will relax at an en route hotel.

Day 2: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will continue on your journey towards New York City. This evening, sit down to a nice Dinner before checking into a comfortable New York City area hotel for a four night stay!.

Day 3: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you'll explore "The City That Never Sleeps." A Guided Tour of Manhattan will take you to such famous sites as Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial, and so much more! Later, you’ll dine at a New York City restaurant and spend a little free time in the city before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, your "Big Apple" adventure continues where you left off yesterday with your Guided Tour. Later today you will head to the incredible One World Observatory, a three story observation deck located on floors 100-102 of One World Trade Center. This stunning structure is the skyscraper that was built between 2006 and 2014 to replace the Twin Towers. Millions of visitors flock to One World Observatory every year to take advantage of the stunning panoramic views it offers. You'll experience 500 years of New York City's history from 1,250 feet above ground, and enjoy spectacular 360 degree views of the iconic sights of New York City. This evening, enjoy a Dinner Party with Entertainment before returning to your hotel.

Day 5: Start your day with a Continental Breakfast, and then head with your Guide to one of New York City’s premier destinations: Ellis Island and Liberty Island – home of the Statue of Liberty! A short ferry ride brings you an up-close view of Lady Liberty, and you can exit the ferry to set foot on Liberty Island itself. Then, continue on to Ellis Island – gateway to the United States for millions of immigrants who came seeking a new life. You will follow in their footsteps for an eye-opening glimpse into history. Tonight, enjoy Dinner before returning to your hotel.

Day 6: Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for the Plaza Centre Antique Gallery. This evening, relax at your en route hotel.

Day 7: Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for home... a perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you’ve done, the great sights you’ve seen, and where your next group trip will take you!
