Intro Meeting-- Welcome!

Sorry for the delay on hosting, but we can finally set sail!

Our first meetup will be held on October 2nd, Thursday (10/02/2025), 7 PM. It will be held at Columbia College of Chicago, located at--
916 S Wabash Ave, Chicago IL 60605
-- in room 150, enter under the 916 sign. It is NOT the 1104 Center, that is another Columbia building close to the 916 building. We will have a sign or someone available inside to help you to the right room!
We start at 7PM, but you able to come in earlier (earliest is 6:30PM)! Feel free to join us in the room to have plenty of time to eat some pizza, sit down, chat, decompress, etc.

The venue is a school! They have security & will need a VALID, ACTIVE, UNEXPIRED ID or driver's license if you are NOT a current student (it does not have to be REAL ID with a star). We will not be able to get you in without one or active Columbia student/faculty ID card. Thank you!

For the first meeting, it will be very forward, roughly an hour or hour & half long. But the room is still available til 8:30 PM if you want to stick around, discuss, give input, just vibe, or eat! You do not need to bring anything.
We will be going over some basics--

• Introductions of the leaders.
• Quick overview of Unity support, our sponsorship, grants, etc.
• Surveys.

We do have scheduled meetings for November 6th, Thursday & December 1st, Monday!
If you can't make the first meeting, only some, or no meetings-- don't panic! You can join in based on your availability, but we will also keep important information up. There will for sure be an overview of the 10/02 & 12/01 meetings a few days after.
