Join me as I host for the Forest Preserves of Cook County, the Morning Major Taylor Trail Bike Ride!

Details:
Trail- paved loop and street crossings
Part 1- 8:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. - bike check and safety review
Part 2- 8:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. - ride the trail to the Major Taylor bridge and we will turn around at Whistler Woods.
Total ride: 16 miles
Pace: Will vary depending on the experience of the riders. You will be able to go faster (or slower) if you choose.
What to wear: Dress for the weather, *helmet required
What to bring: Water, sunscreen, bug spray, and a post-ride snack

Are children allowed to ride? Yes, with an adult *18+ but they should be accomplished riders. We will be riding on the streets through Beverly until we link back up onto the MT Trail.

Do I have to ride the entire trail? No, there are several turn-around points in Beverly. Just let someone know you are turning around.

Do I really need a helmet to ride? YES, we cross traffic to get to the main trail. The FPCC will have a few helmets available. First come, first served.

Do I need cycling gear, shoes, etc., No, just a helmet, come and have fun.
