Come on out and join us with our partners, The Friends of the Chicago River and the Forest Preserves of Cook County for a FREE afternoon of paddling.
This will be one of the few fall rides left to experience the habitat and beauty of the seasons changing for the fall...all in a kayak paddling down the Calumet River.
Not an expert? NO Problem!! You'll get hands-on tutoring on how to kayak! Safety will be number one! All AGES welcome!
Supplies will be provided:
Personal safety vest
Paddle
Kayak
Guide if needed
Water
BRING A SNACK
WEAR clothing you may not care if you get wet or a little dirty (river water has a tendency to like to splash up in the kayak ;))
Come with an attitude of exploring your own great back yard.
