Buy the Damn Cake Conversations is a welcoming space for women 50 and over who are ready to stop putting themselves last and start choosing joy, confidence, and connection in this season of life.
Created and facilitated by Yvette Sims-Morgan, author of the guided journal Buy the Damn Cake, these gatherings are conversation-based — not lectures, not therapy, and not sales pitches.
We come together to talk honestly about:
life transitions
identity beyond roles
reclaiming joy and self-permission
confidence, courage, and next chapters
sisterhood and shared lived experience
You do not need to have read the book to participate.
You just need to show up as yourself.
This group is for women who:
are navigating midlife and beyond
want meaningful conversation, not surface talk
enjoy community, laughter, and reflection
believe it’s never too late to choose themselves
Conversations are hosted in comfortable, accessible spaces such as local libraries and community rooms.
