About Bloggers Meet Startups:

This is a networking event and an opportunity for open discussion. Startups and Bloggers are welcome to bring their best 60-second elevator pitch and everyone is invited to come up and talk about their projects. Everyone gets a chance (and encouraged) to pitch in sort of a speed networking fashion so bring your best pitch.

Featured projects have 5 minutes to pitch and can bring visual aids; handouts. To learn about how you can become a featured startup, email hello@contentacademy.com.

This month’s featured Presenters and Projects:

Michelle Smyth

Michelle is Founder & CEO of Pay Your Selfie, Inc (http://www.payyourselfie.com/)., a mobile research company that hastens innovation cycles for brands and agencies with ethnographic surveys that reveal how real people live, work and play. Her patent-pending survey method blends computer vision with human intelligence to automate image analysis for consumer lifestyle insights. Her work has been featured in Fortune, Forbes, The New York Times and Harvard Business Review. A former data marketer, Michelle has 20 years of experience advising, building and enhancing the reputations of companies at every stage, from startup to Fortune 500.

Vanessa Cutler

Vanessa Cutler is one half of the founding duo behind emotilink (http://emotilink.net/). She is currently a resident physician in Psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center, her alma mater. She also holds a Masters in Public Health and a Masters in the Fine Arts. Vanessa and her cofounder Chris Capshaw have been friends since they first met as college students at the University of Miami and were inspired to develop emotilink after noticing the lack of affordable, discreet and stigma-free options to access mental health care.

emotilink is the on-demand real time communication solution connecting licensed mental health care providers with users over a mobile platform. In addition to providing users with an anonymous solution to an often stigma-laden service, emotilink allows providers to regain autonomy of care and develop a practice on their own terms. Free and at your fingertips, we want you to find your fit at emotilink.

Moderator:

Scott Winterroth (http://twitter.com/swinterroth), co-founder of ContentAcademy.com (http://contentacademy.com/) and founder of Front & Social (http://frontandsocial.com) PR.

Everyone is encouraged to network so bring plenty of business cards to pass and don’t forget to refer this event to a friend! Please, due to the space limitations, please only send one or two per startup.
