Pretty does not equal traffic.

Every website has two audiences: The first audience is the PEOPLE who look at the design, decode the navigation/site structure, look at the pictures, read the content, and just feel the vibe of the site. The second audience is the SEARCH ENGINES, and they want very different things than people. They want keywords in strategic places (but not TOO many), fast loading pages, no broken links, content-content-content, and a long list of requirements for "superior user experience." In this meetup we are going to talk about how to feed and care for the second audience: the search engines. We'll be talking WordPress functionality, plugins, best practices, and more.

Rod Holmes of ChicagoStyleSeo (http://www.chicagostyleseo.com/) will be our presenter this evening. Rod has a wealth of SEO knowledge to share and loves working in WordPress!

As usual - come at 6 to ask specific questions, get a drink and meet and greet. The talk will start at 7.
