What's It Like?

Do you wish you could have more of the kinds of conversations you have late at night where for some reason, you feel safe talking about the things you actually care about?

Bring your friends (or come by yourself- most people do!) and spend your Monday night at an event where you know everyone else is there for the same reason.

We'll be offering 'big talk' conversational prompts on them to get you started, and we'll have lots of structure to make sure that you actually talk to people and that it's not awkward.

There will be food and drinks for sale!

Check-in for this event will begin around 6:15 pm. Please do your best to arrive before 6:30 pm so we can begin as close to on time as possible.

Sunday Funday 6-Week Coed Social Bowling League! ALL skill levels are welcome!

Let's MEETUP on Sunday Fundays for a Simply Social and laid back GLOW BOWLING LEAGUE where all skill levels are welcome! Come meet new people and have fun with us at the alley!

There's already 184 bowlers signed up! That's 23 teams! We have 3 guy and 3 girl spots left. Request to be on a friend's team and it's guaranteed. Or join solo! We'll place you on a coed team of others around your age for the season.

For the past 15 years, people join my leagues because they're not only a super fun activity, but they also create a super friendly environment where making friends is just as important as the games. Hanging out with the same group at the alley and then our post-game sponsor bar every week makes it effortless to build lasting relationships. That really is the best part :)

Want to get placed on a team but can't make it to every game? No problem! We put extra players on every team for this reason.

FULL LEAGUE DETAILS:

*Don't pay attention to the RSVP #. People find out about and join these leagues from many places and they fill up fast!

Before the season starts, you'll get an email with TONS of info for the season. Your teammates' names and emails, the full schedule, how we play and more.

LOCATION: Waveland Bowl (3700 N Western Ave) - Ashland & Western. There's a big parking lot here if you drive!

FIRST GAMES: Sunday, November 2nd. No games November 30th for Thanksgiving weekend, final night Sunday, December 14th. Games run from 5:30-7:30 pm and every bowler gets 2 games per night! Shoe rental is also included in fees.

POST-GAME HANG OUT SPONSOR BAR: The Western Bar & Kitchen (4301 N Western Ave, a 2 min drive from the alley) - We get great specials here and take over the whole place to hang out with our teams and meet others as well!

LENGTH: 6 Weeks. Final night tournaments and all teams make it in! Teams are separated into independent 4-team divisions by skill level to provide a more fair and balanced playoffs. The winner of EACH division gets a team victory bowling party prize!

When Chicago heads indoors for the winter, be active and social in our Simply Social intramural leagues! All skill levels are welcome! You can join by yourself or with friends and get placed on a coed team for the season.

Starting in late October and early November, we've got lots of great 5-7 week leagues to play in. Some are actual sports, while others are more of a super fun activity to break up the work week.

All of them are amazing for meeting new people and having fun! There's no better way to build lasting relationships than during a season getting together with the same people week after week.

Family Feud Trivia League - We'll put you on a team to play! 5 weeks only $35!

We all know Family Feud! The best game show ever right!? I came up with an amazing way to play bar trivia like the Family Feud game show that anyone can play and be good at! You don't have to know lots of random facts to enjoy or win this trivia. I've done over 25 seasons of this too!

This league is a super fun way to meet new people, have some mid-week drinks and get your think on! It ALWAYS fills up with 140ish people playing, so the RSVP # will not reflect the actual size.

You can register online by yourself or with friends for only $35! We'll then put you on a coed team of 6 thinkers around your age for the season and email you a bunch of info to know for the season. Or sign up your own team of up to 6 people for just $165!

HOW WE PLAY:
Each night there are 2 rounds of 5 questions. The trivia works in reverse of how traditional Family Feud scoring goes. Teams are given the survey question that people were asked and then you have to turn in only one answer. BUT you get the MOST points for guessing the lowest answer on the list (the one that only a couple people said) and LESS points for guessing the popular answers! So it's a battle between making sure your answer is on the on the list of answers given but as far on the bottom of that list as possible. It's THE BEST kind of trivia ever.

We give out really awesome prizes too!! NIGHTLY PRIZES FOR THE TOP 8 TEAMS!!! PLUS INCREDIBLE OVERALL LEAGUE PRIZES!!!
