About us

This group is for owners of the Chinese Crested breed of dog as well as for fans of Chinese Cresteds who own other small dogs. As a new owner of a Chinese Crested, I am only just beginning to discover how wonderful this relatively rare breed really is.

My hopes for this group: bring Crestie lovers together in a fun and relaxed environment to talk about all things Chinese Crested, from behavior to grooming etc., to provide a format for dogs and their humans to socialize with each other, to provide a forum to share news and information about dog related events in or near Chicago, and eventually hosting events in collaboration with pet stores, animal shelters, dog experts and specialists, etc. The possibilities are endless!
