Trying something new here. We’re gonna record/CD/cassette shop, then we’ll grab a drink at a nearby diner. Pretty simple, eh? If people dig this, we can try it at other stores in other neighborhoods!

Q: I don’t know of Laurie, and my dad said i shouldn’t talk to strangers. What should I do?

A: when dad says no, ask mom! And don’t worry, Laurie’s is just at the name of the shoppe. If there is a Laurie in our group that would like to host for some libations, though, please contact me 😉

Q: I’m a normal person, so I don’t have a record/CD/cassette player. Should I still buy something?

A: yes! Laurie’s has some nice tchotchkes and games, too, but I should mention that they have records as low as 25¢! So, maybe just find something with a wacky album cover and support your record store.

Q: your event says only 8 members can go, but I like to make decisions at the last second to keep people (including myself) guessing. Can I still go if there are already 8 people going?

A: yes! First of all, I can’t stop you from going shopping at the store or from grabbing a drink at the restaurant, heh, but, in true meetup fashion, half the RSVPs won’t show, so just comment in the event if you want to join us, but it’s “full.” No problem!
