Chicago Dads Group + Baby Bjorn Hook Up for International Babywearing Week!

WHAT: Chicago Dads Group highlight the benefits of babywearing for International Babywearing Week at the Chicago Lincoln Park FARM ZOO with Baby Bjorn along with other City Dads Groups across the nation.

LOCATION: Meet-up at the Chicago Lincoln Park FARM ZOO. After the Baby Bjorn giveaway spend time with the Chicago Dads Group and enjoy the amazing exhibits at one of Chicago’s cultural icons.

MEETING SPOT: At the main entrance to the Lincoln Park FARM ZOO!

DATE: Thursday, October 8th, 2015

TIME: 10:30 am –12:00 Noon

Cost: There is NO CHARGE for the carrier giveaway! In fact, every participant will receive a FREE Baby Bjorn Carrier! (Please note: This giveaway is limited to only the first 10 Dads who RSVP).

For: Dads with little ones between ages 0 - 3 years old. Participants: Space is limited so RSVP soon!

Dads, This is another meet-up opportunity that you're not going to want to miss! International Babywearing Week (IBW) (Oct 4 - 10) is a focused opportunity to celebrate, promote, and advocate the many benefits of Babywearing. To celebrate IBW, BABY BJORN has offered to sponsor our meet-up by offering baby carriers to dads with little ones between ages 0 (newborn) - 3 years of age. Our meetup will be during the "official IBW Week." Baby Bjorn has generously agreed to provide a limited number of FREE** (expectations mentioned below) BABY CARRIER.

A few guidelines and expectations for you to participate:

• Please RSVP for this meet-up ONLY if you are serious about attending as we will definitely have a waiting list.

*To participate:

You must be a Chicago Dads Group member (this is a members only event)

You will receive the baby carrier on site at the Chicago Lincoln Park Farm Zoo.

**You agree to take at least three photos during the meet-up event with camera or smartphone to be uploaded by you to the meet-up site OR preferably your social media sites like Twitter (@ChicagoDadGroup), Instagram, or FaceBook and tag @BabyBjornUS and @ChicagoDadsGroup using hashtag: #IBW2015 (and #wherewewear if possible). Also, adding a brief comment in the meetup site after the event sharing specific feedback about the event/baby carrier.

WHERE TO MEET:

Let's meet inside the Farm-in-the-zoo by the information board. I'll add photos of the location to the event photos. Then kids will be able to see goats, huge bunnies, and cows while we all get together and organized. The farm-in-the-zoo if you haven't been there is at the far southwest corner of the zoo, you can search for the address "1969 N Stockton Drive"

to find it... Although street parking is scarce. If you're driving you will probably need half an hour to find parking and walk over. Here is a link to a guide from the zoo with a map:
