### PostgreSQL for the SQL Server DBA

This session is designed to help the SQL Server DBA start the transition to also being a PostgreSQL DBA. During this session, we will cover some of the core areas of responsibility for a DBA. There are a few tools similar to SSMS that we will do a high-level overview of. We will go over the options for backing up the database and server, process management, how to capture execution plans and discuss the basic security model for a PostgreSQL database and server.

Members can ask questions, do networking, discuss Database related issues currently facing, and get advice from the chapter leaders and from other members. Also, report if you have job openings or looking for a job.

6:00 to 7:00 PM
