Our rally aims to bring the community together to fight against breast cancer. Let's raise our voices, share stories, and show solidarity in the face of this disease. Whether you're a survivor, a supporter, or just want to learn more, this event is for you. Let's stand together and make a difference!

- Where: Downtown Waukegan on Genesee Street (at Wauktoberfest)
- Why: To celebrate survivors and show support for everyone fighting breast cancer.

Dr. Christina Wells, Lifestyle Medicine Physician, and breast cancer survivor Vivian Amos-Brown, will share inspiring words.
Rhythm In The Round will lead our community drum circle.

Vivian Amos Brown, Breast Cancer Thriver, from Homewood, IL will share how by following a whole food plant-based diet she was able to lose over 100 pounds, recover from cirrhosis of the liver, reverse heart disease, and survive breast cancer. Ms. Amos, now proud to be a plant-based lifestyle coach certified through Dr. John McDougall’s program, teaches people how to eat healthy and take control of their health. She inspires everyone she encounters through her remarkable story and says,
“It’s never too late to make a change.”
Christina Wells MD, MPH, MBA, FAAFP, dipACLM, is a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine/Educator Physician at the University of Illinois-Chicago who provides patient-centered care for individuals of all ages. She specializes in both preventive health services and the management of chronic diseases with a holistic approach. Dr. Wells is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois-Chicago. She has a Master of Public Health degree with an emphasis in Nutrition and Wellness and a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare management.
