What we’re about
This is a group for widows and widowers of any age to socialize, form friendships, offer support, and have some fun! Our activities are anything from meeting for coffee, wine tasting, or dinner to comedy shows or meeting at a park with our children. While we are all different ages and come from different backgrounds, we are bound together by the loss of a spouse. The intention of this group is to provide a way for us to find each other and plan fun events. To that end we are always looking for members who would like to help the group by joining the leadership team in roles such as Event Planner and Event Host.
We are also a unique group in that only widows and widowers are accepted for membership. Unfortunately there ARE bad people in this world and we attempt to keep you and all of our our members safe by weeding out predators, gold diggers, and folks who are NOT widows or widowers. To do that we will ask to see documents such as obituaries, Death Certificates, etc. If you are NOT a widow or widower please do NOT apply as you will not be approved.
