CAMP Bookclub

Details
CAMP's first 2022 bookclub meeting will be on March 1st. UPDATE: the authors will be attending this event, and you will have the opportunity to hear their first hand stories of their travel, and check our their books. YOU SHOULD CONSIDER JOINING REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU HAVE READ THE BOOK OR NOT.
Our first book of the month is Tim Notier's "2up and overloaded: Chicago to Panama". Tim is a Chicago native who a few years ago left his job and, together with his now wife Marisa, went on a trip around the world on his KTM. I met him when I took the off road class with Heavy Enduro and he is a lovely human being with a ton of motorcycle traveling adventures to share. Tim and Marisa are in Chicago again at the moment, and we hope they will be able to attend our Bookclub meeting in March. You can read their blog and learn more about them on their website.
You can buy the book directly on Amazon (kindle or hard copy) or you can get a signed edition from Tim directly: email him directly at notiersfrontiers@outlook.com.
The format of our Bookclub is super simple:
- Read the book! You have 40 days!!!!
- Come to the Bookclub meeting on March 1st (location to be announced) and talk about the book, hopefully with the authors themselves!
At our bookclub in March we will also decide what the next book should be, so come with ideas for books to read. The theme / topic is pretty broad, but it should involve motorcycles, motorcycle travel, outdoors adventures, and possibly all of these. We will then hold a vote and the winner will be the next book of the month.
