Chicago Puzzle Club is hosting their first USA JPA Pre-Approved Individual and Pairs speed puzzle competition in Chicago! USA Jigsaw Puzzle Association (USA JPA) is a non-profit organization that creates a nationwide community for jigsaw puzzlers and establishes a framework for competitive jigsaw puzzling events. A USA JPA Pre-Approved event means that a USA JPA board member will be present to evaluate the event prior to approving a future event to be officially sanctioned. Please note that competition times will not count towards the JPAR ranking at a USA JPA Pre-Approved event.
The Individual speed puzzle competition division will compete to finish a 500-piece puzzle within a 2-hour time limit (1:00pm - 3:00pm). The Pairs speed puzzle competition division will have teams of 2 people compete to finish a 500-piece puzzle within a 1.5-hour time limit (4:00pm - 5:30pm). Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in each division!
We will have a puzzle swap table where you can take a puzzle in exchange for each puzzle that you drop off. If there are leftover puzzles, you can take as many as you want home.
