Chicago Puzzle Club - Puzzle Events

Note: This is a ticketed and paid event. You must have a paid ticket through Ticket Tailor to attend (you can purchase a ticket using the Ticket Tailor link below).

In October 2026, we are hosting a family-friendly speed puzzle competition in Chicago! Teams of up to 4 people will compete to finish a spooky-themed 500-piece puzzle within a 2-hour time limit (1:30pm - 3:30pm). Any team with at least one team member under the age of 16 will compete in a separate bracket with their own prizes.

Prizes will be awarded to the top winners in both brackets! There will also be opportunities to win door prizes, and anyone who is dressed in a costume will have an extra chance to win.

We will have a puzzle swap table where you can take a puzzle in exchange for each puzzle that you drop off. If there are leftover puzzles, you can take as many as you want home.

Additional Information:

• Teams can take home their puzzle used in the competition.
• One ticket will cover a team of up to 4 people and includes the competition puzzle, puzzle bag, and free snacks and beverages.
• The puzzle swap will run from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
• Check-in starts at 1:00pm for the speed puzzle competition.
• For competitors who don’t finish the puzzle within the allotted time, remaining pieces will be tallied for the ranking.
• There is a free parking lot and street parking.
• There will be an opportunity to win door prizes.
• Open to all ages and skill level. However, if the competitor is under the age of 16, they must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
• No alcohol is allowed, but feel free to bring your own non-alcoholic drinks or snacks.
• Competition will be held at Clarendon Fieldhouse at 4501 N. Clarendon Avenue, Chicago, IL 60640 in the 2nd floor gallery. This venue is wheelchair accessible.
